‘A Gun Ban That Misfired’

The Wall Street Journal gives an accurate explanation of the failure of gun control. A former D.C. prosecutor is very weary of new gun laws coming from the Obama White House. It didn’t work in D.C. and Chicago and now they want the same failed laws nationwide. Such an illegal attack on the Second Amendment would shift the balance power away from the law abiding and empower criminals with bad intent.

The gun ban had an unintended effect: It emboldened criminals because they knew that law-abiding District residents were unarmed and powerless to defend themselves.
