Another Calguns Foundation win in the courts. The case is Ian James Farias v. City of Calexico. Ian was stopped in the city of Calexico, and wrongly charged with having a concealed firearm in his vehicle, because he was transporting a shotgun. Jason Davis of the law firm Davis and Associates obtained a finding of factual innocence for Mr. Farias. It cost the city of Calexico $35,800, and the institution of a training program, on criminal laws pertaining to firearms.
