More On Remington M4 Production

It turns out that a plausible reason for Remington now producing the M4 carbine for the U.S. Army is a reduction in cost. Where Colt was charging $1,221 per rifle Remington is charging $673. That’s a rather large reduction in cost. Colt does still get a royalty of 5% per rifle.
