Senator Examines Border Shootout Gun Claim against BATFE

Senator Charles Grassley is examining claims that guns sold in purchases sanctioned by BATFE were later used in a shootout that left a Border Patrol agent dead near the Arizona-Mexico border. These are very serious claims. The agency tasked with targeting cartel firearm smuggling has allegedly sanctioned sales of hundreds of firearms to suspected straw purchasers.
